The Seoul Central District Court dismissed Lai Kuanlin’s request to suspend his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment, submitted last July.  

On 21th, Cube Entertainment announced "Today, the Seoul Central District Court decided to dismiss our agency artist Lai Kuanlin’s request to suspend his exclusive contract with the company, which was submitted last July." officially. 

Continues, "We welcome the court’s decision and we would like to announce once again that there is no reason for the termination of the exclusive contract between Cube and Lai Kuanlin. According to the court’s decision, we will maintain our exclusive contract relationship with Lai Kuanlin, and we will find an amicable solution through in-depth discussions with him."

Moreover, Cube Entertainment also stated "As always we will continue to support all of our artists and trainees so that they can show their full ability and to follow by the contract and keep our trust. We apologize to the fans, who concerned regarding this matter. As you have worried these days, we will make sure to continue showing a better appearance than before."

Meanwhile, Lai Kuanlin appeared on Mnet 'Produce101 Season2' and gained the public interest, which lead to debuted as Wannaone. In the beginning of this year, he also debuted with Woosuk from Pentagon as a unit.
