'The King's Letters' is a film about King Sejong (played by Song Kang-ho), who created Hangul at the risk of everything and people who participated in the project with indomitable beliefs, and the hidden story of the creation of Hangeul, which was not known to history.
From 'The Foul King', 'Memories of Murder', 'The Good, The Bad, The Weird', 'Snowpiercer', 'The Attorney', 'The Age of Shadows', 'A Taxi Driver', and the recently released 'Parasite', Song Kang-ho, who presented a new look to the audience, will play as the great King Sejong in 'The King's Letters' and will express 'human Sejong', which was hidden behind 'King Sejong.'
King Sejong, played by Song Kang-ho, is a king with a loving spirit of people, who started and undertook the creation of Hangeul with the belief that 'the letters should belong to the people.'
