[Zenith News=Byeon Jinhee] Boy group MONSTA X has successfully wrapped up their first concert in Australia for their world tour.
MONSTA X successfully led the ‘WE ARE HERE’ world tour in Australia by performing at the ICC Sydney Theatre in Sydney on the 5th (local time) and at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on the 8th.
In particular, the Australian region is the country where MONSTA X, who is continuing their third world tour this year, performed for the first time since the 2017 world tour, and fans in the region had high expectations.
As evidenced by this, fans of various nationalities, including Australian fans, were present at the venue even before the start of the concert.
Since it was their first performance, MONSTA X had a happy time with fans with a more colorful stage and warm communication.
They attracted all of the attention by performing their previous title track full of overwhelming performances from their debut song 'Trespass' to their recently released album 'Alligator', showed off their boyfriend-like charms by performing 'Honestly', 'I DO LOVE U' and 'White Sugar' and gave off the groove vibe by performing 'Party Time' and 'Play It Cool.'
In the middle of the concert, I.M and all the members talked in English with their fans, recording the beautiful moments of their first meeting.
The unit stage, which can only be seen at the concert, received the hottest response from fans as it was the highlight of the performance. Minhyuk, Kihyun and Hyungwon showed the image of mature men wearing colorful suits and perfectly imitated Bazzi's 'Myself', while Shownu and Wonho performed 'MIRROR' and showed off attractive sexiness. On the contrary, Joohoney and I.M created an energetic stage with their self-composed song 'Three-beat'. Joohoney played the drums himself, creating the perfect combination of traditional Korean music and hip-hop, adding to the specialty of the stage.
Following H.ONE's special stage and the encore song 'BY MY SIDE', MONSTA X successfully finished their first concert in Australia and thanked their fans.
Monsta X said, "When we decided to make a world tour in the two cities Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, we were excited worried, too. I think it's because it's the city and country where we're going to perform for the first time. Since all the worries of MONBEBE fans are gone, we'll go back with happy memories. Let's meet again soon,” expressing their impression of their first performance in Australia.
Monsta X, who also successfully completed their first world tour in Australia, drew attention from some 1,000 local reporters during their previous world tour in Thailand. They will wrap up their Asian tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 22nd, and will continue their 19 concerts in 18 cities by visiting five European countries and eight cities in North and South America.
In addition, MONSTA X has unveiled a mysterious motion teaser that heralds new activities on the 14th, signaling a variety of activities along with the world tour.
