[Zenith News=Hyerin Lee] Sandeul of B1A4 talked about full-member activities and the recent news of member CNU.
Zenith News and Sandeul of B1A4 met at a cafe located in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, for an interview to mark the release of his second solo mini album, 'One Fine Day.'
The title track of the same name, 'One Fine Day', inspired by the blue sky without fine dust on a dazzling day was composed by Yoon Jong-shin. This is the first new song in more than three years since 'Stay As You Are' which was released in 2016.
During that time, B1A4 failed to exceed the 'seven years' and their full-member contract was canceled, while members Jinyoung-Baro signed an exclusive contract with a new agency. Sandeul-Gongchan-CNU chose to remain at WM Entertainment.
On this day, in regards to the renewal of the full member contract, Sandeul said, "There were some problems, but my mind was too complicated. I thought about various things, and I showed that I am having a hard time on broadcasts as well. That's why I tried to share a story in the song 'It's OK' of this album."
Sandeul then said, "We met and talked every day. I was only at home, but two members told me to come out. That's why I went out, and that was when I felt much better," he added, "It's not time to kill time like this, are we the only one who are having struggles? Everyone is'. And since then, I've started working on B1A4's album. I think the members have become closer to each other, and I can rely on them."
However, since CNU joined the military in January, B1A4's full-member activities were postponed. In response, Sandeul said, "It was a pity. All three were in mental breakdown. I felt I was worried again, and I thought, 'What should we do again?' But I also felt that I improved. Since I couldn't stop him from leaving, I thought about how to spend time, and brushed it off quickly. I couldn't even bring out the words 'I am so tired' because CNU was the one who was having the most struggles."
Also, in regards to CNU's recent news, he said, "I didn't hang out with him when he was on vacation, but he looked so good. I don't know if he tried to show that he was doing well, but he looked so good that I hated it. He also said, 'I'm doing so well, and I'm good without any big worries'. I was glad that he got used to it well. The fans were also worried but I think they don't have to worry about anything.”
Meanwhile, Sandeul's second solo mini-album 'One Fine Day' will be released on various music sites today at 6PM(3rd).
