[Zenith News=Jieun Oh] Singer PSY has denied allegations of sexual favor scandal.
Singer PSY explained in person the controversy over accompanying YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk at the scene of sexual services through SNS on the 29th.
"Jho Low, who was mentioned in the press is a friend of mine," PSY said. "When I knew him back then, he was an active Hollywood show business person. I got to know him when I was working overseas and I introduced him to Yang Hyun-suk" he added.
"It's clear that I was his friend, whether he was a good friend or not" he said.
PSY added, "When Jho Low and his party visited Korea during their Asian tour, I was invited and Yang Hyun-suk and I were present. After eating and drinking with the others that were invited, me and Yang Hyun-suk left first."
Finally, PSY said, "I thought it was a gathering with friends from faraway countries. I'm sorry I've caused you so much trouble with this."
On the 27th, MBC's 'Straight' reported that they found circumstantial evidence that CEO Yang Hyun-suk had offered sexual service to two Thai and Malaysian financiers in 2014.
On 29th, local media in Southeast Asia reported that Jho Low, a financier fugitive on the run overseas, is suspected of receiving sexual services from CEO Yang Hyun-suk, sparking controversy.
Meanwhile, PSY established the agency, 'P NATION' in January 2019 as his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired last year.
