[Zenith News=Byeon Jinhee] Girl group WANNA.B talked about the responses they received after their comeback showcase. In particular, member Ami drew attention as she thanked BTS fans for her special feelings.
Zenith News and WANNA.B recently met at a cafe located in Nonhyeon-dong, southern Seoul, in an interview to mark the release of their new single 'LEGGO'.
Eunsom, who had earlier shown tears at the comeback showcase, said, "When I first debuted, I saw article photos, and my face was captured with dynamic expressions. This time, I tried to show my pretty face, but I was a little embarrassed because I cried", she also added, "I couldn't hold back my feelings while talking so I cried. Thanks to that, the crowd took more photos and I was grateful for their interest. After the showcase, we made more commitments. Since I showed tears in front of many people, I thought I should show better performances".
Ami said, "We share our thoughts while we monitor ourselves. There were a lot of pictures of us with our cool looks and a lot of fun titles using my name, Ami".
When asked, "There are many responses regarding BTS's fanclub name ARMY, Did you see it?" Ami said, "When I see myself on fancam or V LIVE, I get deceived. Some people ask me how long it has been since I started working under the name Ami. I tell you I've been active for 25 years because my real name is Ami".
Ami then said, "I'm grateful that the BTS fanclub name is the same as mine, and people recognize me. BTS is a great group in the world, aren't they?"
Also, Roeun said, "We don't have a day off in our Kakaotalk room where we are together. After the showcase, we share good photos of each other, and share funny pictures and laugh. We also monitor each other a lot. On the showcase day, we laughed and chatted until dawn, especially because we was talking about how we felt at that time in a long time".
Meanwhile, WANNA.B, composed of Sejin, Eunsom, Ami, Lina and Roeun, released their new song 'LEGGO' on the 20th and are actively carrying out their promotions.
'LEGGO' contains a message for youth who live with anxiety about the future and worries about the present. In particular, the combination of hip-hop and various genres such as electronic and reggaeton gives you a unique sense of WANNA.B's charms.
